Calculate this tool’s exposure
Other tools in your current tab’s daily draft are kept when you add this tool. Review the combined daily total in the calculator.
Time and points at your selected magnitude
Times assume no other exposure that day and are rounded down to whole minutes. These thresholds are not safe-time allowances. Keep exposure as low as reasonably practicable.
Manufacturer declarations
Manufacturer manual review · 19 September 2026 · 215iL 1737-007, 26 February 2025; 215iHD45 1710-008, 12 March 2024 · This kit contains two separate tools. Select the tool actually used and enter its own trigger time. Each mode links to its own manual. The higher handle value is used for each named mode; both handle values are retained. The manual calls its vibration dispersion a typical statistical standard deviation; that published dispersion is retained in the K field. Match the original cutting attachment. · Match your exact model, generation, attachment and working mode.
| Working mode | Declared m/s² | Uncertainty K m/s² |
|---|---|---|
| 215iL grass trimmer · original head · higher handle | 4.5 | 1.5 |
| 215iHD45 hedge trimmer · higher handle | 2.1 | 1.5 |
Declarations are test results, not workplace measurements. The catalogue starting value is the manufacturer declaration plus published K when K is above 1.5 m/s². Otherwise a 1.5 m/s² allowance is used, including when K is missing. This minimum allowance is a site default; the actual manufacturer K remains in the table above. No HSE tool-type minimum is applied. Missing declarations require an assessed value. Match the working mode, battery and accessory to the manufacturer source. Use your employer’s assessed value where appropriate.
Current and historical sources are included; catalogue coverage and UK sales status are not fully verified. Missing or ambiguous figures require assessment.
